Targeted Injections to Help Reduce Pain and Improve Movement
At Fortis Health & Wellbeing, we offer a range of injection therapies to help reduce pain, calm inflammation, and improve joint movement. These treatments are often helpful when pain continues despite physiotherapy, exercise, or other treatments.
All injections are carried out by experienced, qualified clinicians after a full assessment, ensuring the treatment chosen is right for you and your condition.

Arthrosamid® Injections
Arthrosamid® is a longer-acting injection used mainly for knee osteoarthritis.
It works differently from other injections by integrating into the joint lining, helping to provide long-lasting pain relief for suitable patients.
This option is usually considered when longer-term symptom control is the main goal.
Ostenil® Injections
Ostenil® is a hyaluronic acid injection that helps improve joint lubrication.
It is commonly used for:
Osteoarthritis
Joint stiffness
Reduced joint movement
This treatment works gradually by improving how smoothly the joint moves.
Cingal® Injections
Cingal® combines two treatments in one injection:
A corticosteroid for faster pain relief
Hyaluronic acid for longer-term joint support
It is most often used for knee osteoarthritis, especially when both quick relief and longer-lasting improvement are needed.
Biolevox® Injections
Biolevox® is another hyaluronic acid injection designed to support joint movement and comfort.
It may be suitable for:
Early to moderate osteoarthritis
Ongoing joint pain and stiffness
Biolevox® helps improve joint function over time.
Corticosteroid Injections
Corticosteroid injections are used to reduce pain and inflammation, particularly during flare-ups.
They may be helpful for:
Arthritis-related pain
Inflamed or swollen joints
Tendon or soft tissue irritation
Relief is often felt quickly, helping you move more comfortably and engage in rehabilitation.
Which Injection Is Right for Me?
The right injection depends on your symptoms, level of pain, and how long you need relief for. If you are unsure of which type of injection is best for you, we recommend booking an injection therapy consultation where our injection specialist can assess the area and will be able to recommend the best treatment for you.
